International University Preparation Program

​The program is designed to equip students with the essential academic and language skills needed to apply for and thrive in higher education abroad successfully. Through a structured curriculum, students will develop proficiency in English, gain fundamental knowledge in various disciplines, and receive personalized guidance on scholarship opportunities and application processes.

Courses Taught

  1. Academic English - This course enhances students' reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in an academic setting, ensuring they can effectively communicate in university-level courses.
  2. IELTS Foundation to Preparation / GED - A comprehensive training program that builds a strong foundation in IELTS skills, leading to advanced test-taking strategies for achieving high scores. Alternatively, students preparing for the GED will receive targeted instruction to meet the required academic standards.
  3. Introduction to Social Science - This course provides an overview of key concepts in social sciences, including sociology, psychology, and political science, helping students develop critical thinking and analytical skills.
  4. Introduction to Research - A fundamental course covering research methodologies, academic writing, and data analysis to prepare students for university-level research projects.
  5. Introduction to Arakanese Studies (Rakhine Studies) - This course explores the history, culture, and socio-political aspects of the Rakhine region. It provides a deeper understanding of Arakanese heritage and its influence on the broader Southeast Asian context.

Extra-Curricular Activities

  1. Guest Speaker Sessions
    Industry professionals, university representatives, and experienced educators will provide valuable insights into studying abroad, career prospects, and university life.
  2. Scholarship Counseling

    3. One-on-one guidance is provided to help students find and apply for scholarships, write compelling personal statements, and prepare for interviews.

  3. Free Self-Study Sessions
    Dedicated self-study time and access to academic resources to support independent learning and reinforce classroom instruction.

Program Requirements

To be eligible for the International University Preparation program, students must meet the following criteria:

✅ Be a high school or university graduate

✅ Have a Pre-Intermediate level of English proficiency

✅ Have a strong plan to apply for study abroad opportunities
